Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Behavioral Health to provide patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree in Nursing.
• Valid Multi-State RN License; if from a non-compact state, must obtain within 30 days.
• BLS CPR certification required within 7 days of hire.

• Preferred: psychiatric/mental health nursing experience; RN-C certification.

• Conducts and documents initial and ongoing patient assessments, incorporating physician and psychosocial input.
• Performs patient interventions proficiently, demonstrating age-specific competencies.
• Verifies medication orders, schedules tests/procedures, manages pre-op data, and ensures proper documentation.
• Follows medication and IV therapy policies, administers meds safely, monitors for adverse reactions, and reports interactions.
• Performs related duties to maintain quality patient care through education, collaboration, and adherence to standards.
