Job summary

Triangle Springs in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Behavioral Health on a 3-12 hour night shift with weekend rotations. You will assess patients, initiate nursing interventions, document medical necessity, and help update the interdisciplinary care plan.

This full-time role requires NC RN license (single-state or compact), Associate degree in nursing, BLS and CPI within 30 days of hire. Prior behavioral health experience and strong communication, de-escalation, and teamwork

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience preferred, Behavioral Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conduct timely and accurate QI assessments.

How You'll Contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing intervention.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have an active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins. Associate degree in nursing required.

Additional Requirements Include

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 30 days of hire
• One year of nursing experience preferred
• Behavioral Health or Psychiatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and de-escalation skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
• Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
