Centerpoint Health - Paris is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts in Paris, KY. This full-time role includes a $10,000 commitment bonus over two years and a 3x12 schedule with 6p-6a shifts and rotating weekends.

The team emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within a 58-bed acute care setting under Lifepoint Health. Ideal candidates hold an active KY RN license and an accredited nursing degree, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license to practice in KY.
• Associate degree in nursing required; bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in behavioral health.
• Collaborates with interprofessional team to ensure safety and quality outcomes.
• Performs plan-of-care interventions including medication administration and clinical treatments.
• Documents care in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitors patient conditions and communicates with care team and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living.

Centerpoint Health - Paris offers services in Behavioral Health consisting of a 33-bed inpatient facility for both adults & adolescents. Our multi-disciplinary approach enlists the services of a dedicated team of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, therapists, nurses, social workers, mental health technicians, recreation therapists and Kentucky certified teachers. Our Behavioral Health department also utilizes certified therapy dogs in the healing process when applicable.

How you'll contribute

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice for behavioral health patients.
• Collaborates with the interprofessional team to support a safe, therapeutic environment and high-quality outcomes.
• Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Associate's degree in nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
• License: Current RN to practice in the state of KY
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
