Job summary

Essentia Health's NICU nursing role in Fargo, ND seeks a dedicated RN to provide patient-centered care from assessment to evaluation. In this 0.9 FTE position with possible remote/hybrid option, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support lactation education and family-centered care.

Requirements include a BSN or ADN from an accredited program, active nursing licensure, BCLS within 1 month, NRP within 12 months, and PALS for higher-level NICU.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
• BCLS certification within one month.
• NRP certification within one year.
• PALS certification required when moving to level 3 NICU RN. (After 2 years of employment, or longer as approved by the manager.)

Responsibilities

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions.

Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Education Qualifications

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required when moving to level 3 NICU RN. (After 2 years of employment, or longer as approved by the manager.)

Sign On Incentives: $7,500/Associate RNs and $10,000/Bachelor RNs for all eligible Experienced and New Grad RN with work commit.
