Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time role providing direct patient care across shifts. The RN will assess, plan, and implement nursing care, supervise staff, and coordinate patient care within the unit using the nursing process.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active RN licensure, and BLS (ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable). Prior acute care experience is preferred, with orientation and ongoing competency supported by the facility.

Qualifications

• Licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by state.
• AHA BLS certification; ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP as applicable.
• Prior acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement direct clinical care per shift.
• Supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Administers medications safely per hospital policy.
• Fulfill HICS responsibilities and roles as directed.
• Know and respond to hospital emergency codes.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing
