Job summary

Westview Of Indianola Care Center, part of Legacy Healthcare Financial Services LLC, is seeking an experienced staff nurse to join our overnight shift team. You will supervise the activities of the clinical staff on your unit and help maintain our high standard of resident care.

You’ll ensure infection prevention practices, adequate staffing, and provide guidance and education to the team. A current Iowa RN license (or compact state) and SNF experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa RN license or compact state.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee activities of clinical staff on assigned unit.
• Ensure infection prevention practices are maintained.
• Ensure adequate staffing for residents' needs.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Westview Of Indianola Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident's needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
