Job summary

Westview Care Center is seeking an RN to join our friendly, caring team. The position involves overseeing unit operations, guiding clinical staff, and maintaining high care standards for residents.

You will supervise staff, promote infection prevention, and ensure adequate staffing. Candidates should hold an Iowa RN license, with SNF experience preferred, and be committed to excellence in skilled nursing care.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered State of Iowa RN license (or compact state).
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the assigned unit.

1st shift full time, part time, and PRN, as well as weekend package option.

2nd shift full time, part time, and PRN and weekend package option.

6am-6pm or 10a-10p shift full time part-time, and PRN, as well as weekend package option.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Westview Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have: As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
