MedStar Health’s 2F high-acuity unit in Washington, DC, delivers care for complex medical-surgical and ventilated patients with stroke and neurosurgical focus. The unit emphasizes cross-training, mentorship, and growth for nurses at all levels.

As a Clinical Nurse, you’ll provide compassionate patient-centered care, assess evolving conditions, and coordinate care plans with the nursing team. Excellent benefits and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

• Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex.
• Assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans.
