MedStar Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse II on the 38-bed Medical-Surgical & Stroke Unit in Clinton, MD. You will deliver skilled, compassionate care across routine to complex needs, with ongoing education and support from leadership.

Requirements include ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL, 1 year RN experience, and MD RN license or Compact state with BLS. This full-time role offers rotating day/night shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Unit Highlights

Join our 38-bed Medical-Surgical & Stroke Unit, where you’ll care for a diverse patient population, including medical-surgical, stroke, and telemetry patients.

Our unit offers a supportive environment with highly involved leadership and education teams who provide strong support throughout orientation and beyond.

Previous stroke experience is not required-we welcome nurses who are eager to learn, grow their skills, and become part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing excellent patient care.

We are currently looking for nurses with at least 1 year of RN experience, and are hiring for Full Time, Rotating Day/Night Shift positions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs - from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 1 yr RN Experience required.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of

USD $39.42 - USD $65.17 /Hr.
