Responsibilities include patient assessments, administering medications, collaboration with care teams, and maintaining accurate reporting to the health department. Requires Indiana RN license, ASN, BLS, and hospital-based nursing program completion.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires RN license in Indiana.
• Requires graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• May require additional life support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition by observing and recording status.
• Conduct accurate clinical assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Assist units with equipment, meds, and supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with providers and care teams.
• Assist with procedures as required.
• Perform point-of-care testing.
• Complete patient paperwork and records.
• Maintain relationships with patients and follow up.
