Job summary

Belmont Bay Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver skilled clinical care and monitor residents' conditions. You will work within a caring team to implement individualized care plans and document care accurately.

The role requires a VA RN license and BLS CPR, with responsibilities including medication administration, assessments, and collaborative care planning in a sub-acute/long-term facility setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in VA is required.
• BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with nursing standards and physician plan of treatment.
• Follow care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per the plan of care.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation per physician orders and facility policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and nursing regulations.

PT: 3 PM - 11 PM Every Other Weekend + Friday (Fri, Sat, Sun)

PT: 11 PM- 7 AM Every Other Weekend (Sat, Sun)

$37 - $46 an hour (all-inclusive)

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of VA.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
