Kauai Care Center, located in Waimea on the beautiful Garden Island, is seeking an RN to provide nursing care and supervise staff. The facility offers a new wage scale and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time employment.

Responsibilities include medication administration, resident care, and collaboration with families and medical providers to promote recovery and well-being in a home-like setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Hawaii RN license in good standing.
• New grads are encouraged to apply.
• Weekend rotation availability required.

As an RN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

As An RN, You Will

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations
