Job summary

Kauai Care Center in Waimea, Hawaii is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our exceptional team. You will provide medication assistance, nursing services, and staff support to enhance resident well-being in a warm, home‑like environment.

Must possess a valid Hawaii Nursing License and be available for weekend rotation. We offer a new wage scale of $37.00–$40.00 per hour with a welcome bonus and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, life insurance, EAP, 401(k) and more.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home‑like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with IADLs, ADLs, environmental orientation, medication assistance or administration, treatments, and other care while encouraging self‑care and independence.
• Ensure care per resident treatment and service plans.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.

As an LPN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

You Will

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations

You Currently

• Possess a current LPN license in good standing
