Job summary

Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, NJ is seeking passionate Registered Nurses (RN) to join our growing nursing team. You will provide direct resident care, administer medications, and support the nursing staff to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care.

This position can be full-time, part-time, or per diem, with pay rates of $37.00–$41.00 per hour. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth as part of a caring, family-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse license in the state (NJ preferred; TN listed in posting)
• Experience in long-term care is preferred
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays if needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents following established care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, documenting accurately
• Monitor residents' health status including vital signs, physical and mental condition
• Assist with admission, transfers and discharge procedures including resident assessments and documentation
• Collaborate with LPNs, CNAs, physicians, therapists and other team members to ensure quality care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in medical records
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed
• Participate in care planning, family conferences, and resident meetings to promote person centered care
• Follow infection control, safety protocols and facility policies
• Educate residents and families on health management, medication use, and care procedures
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff
