Job summary

Nightingale Visiting Nurses of Massachusetts Inc in Taunton, MA is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time or part-time roles. You will collect patient histories, assess health, educate families, and provide skilled nursing care at home, following care plans and HIPAA.

This role offers flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, PTO, and benefits; orientation at Taunton office; requires RN license, CPR, TB test, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license required.
• OASIS and Kinser/WellSky experience preferred (training provided).
• TB test within last 12 months & CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient medical histories and assess physical health (vitals, mental status, etc.).
• Educate patients and families on nursing services and care plans.
• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with care plans and HIPAA.
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Submit accurate and timely patient notes/documentation.
• Coordinate additional services as needed (LPN, HHA, Personal Care Attendant).
• Arrange referrals for services like PT or medical social work.
• Supervise and support LPNs, HHAs, and Personal Care Attendants.
