Job summary

Nightingale Visiting Nurses of Massachusetts is seeking Home Health Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time and part-time roles. You will collect patient medical histories, provide skilled nursing care, and educate patients and families.

Your Role

• Collect patient medical histories and assess physical health (vitals, mental status, diet, etc.)
• Educate patients and families on nursing services and care plans
• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with care plans and HIPAA
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and adjust care plans as needed
• Submit accurate and timely patient notes/documentation
• Coordinate additional services as needed (LPN, HHA, Personal Care Attendant)
• Arrange referrals for services such as PT or medical social work
• Supervise and support LPNs, HHAs, and Personal Care Attendants

Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• OASIS and WellSky (Kinser) experience preferred (training provided)
• Med-surg and wound care experience a plus
• TB test within last 12 months & CPR certification
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to attend orientation at Taunton office
