Job summary

Lahser Hills Care Centre is hiring an RN to join a skilled nursing team in Michigan. The role covers orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology with access to updated technology and an interdisciplinary team.

You will be paid hourly between 39.80 and 43.65, with an $8,000 sign-on bonus. Base pay ranges and shift premiums apply; full-time or part-time options available, with 8-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as an RN in Michigan (RN license).
• CPR-BLS certification required.
• Strong customer service mindset with compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments such as would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed and discuss changes with patients and families.
• Provide preventative and supportive care addressing physiologic and psychosocial well-being.
• Oversee Nurse Aide team with direction, training, and evaluations.
• Promote hospitality and excellent service in daily interactions with guests and families.

How You Will Help People Every Day

• You will perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• You will administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• You will provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• You will oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• A current license to practice as an RN Registered Nurse in Michigan; current CPR-BLS certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
