Durand Senior Care & Rehab is seeking an LPN to join our EPIC team for full-time or part-time night shifts. You will conduct a range of nursing treatments, administer medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. Excellent customer service and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as an LPN; Michigan license required
• CPR certification (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors
• Perform treatments such as would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis
• Administer medications as prescribed and advise patients and families on changes to medications and treatment plans
• Provide preventative and supportive care directed to physiologic and psychosocial well-being
• Oversee CNA team, provide direction, training, and evaluations

Our Skilled Nurses provide specialized care to patients in a variety of areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as you deem necessary utilizing the latest in technology and being a part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

You will earn: Start at $41.40 on Nights!

• Starting Wages: $29.00 - $33.00 based on years licensed,
• PLUS $5.00 shift premium 7p-7a
• PLUS $3.40 Hero Pay
• Yearly Wage Increases

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• 12 hour shifts - All shifts include rotating weekends (every other weekend) and some holidays
• Full Time or Part Time available - Days or Nights

How you will help people every day:

• You will perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• You will administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• You will provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• You will oversee the CNA team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• A current license to practice as anLPN Michigan; current CPR certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
