Fairlane Senior Care & Rehab Center in Detroit, MI is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join an award-winning interdisciplinary team. You will perform diverse nursing duties, administer medications, and contribute to patient-focused care plans that support recovery and comfort.

Qualifications

• Hold a current RN license in Michigan (RN) and CPR-BLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Strong analytical abilities to develop personalized care plans and nursing/rehabilitation strategies.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork to support patients, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of treatments including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed, and advise patients and families on changes to medications and care plans.
• Provide preventative and supportive care to enhance physiologic and psychosocial well-being.
• Promote hospitality and excellent service in daily interactions with patients and visitors.
• Oversee Nurse Aide team, provide direction and training, and participate in evaluations.

Our Registered Nurses are a part of our skilled nursing team that provides specialized care to patients in a variety of areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as you deem necessary utilizing the latest in technology and being a part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

You will earn: Base pay $40.40 per hour! New Wages!

• Starting rate: $37.00per hour - New Wages!
• PLUS $3.40 per hour hero pay
• Shift Differential - $1.50 per hour on Night Shifts
• Yearly Wage Increases

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• 12 hour shifts
• Full time - Midnights - 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

How you will help people every day:

• You will perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• You will administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• You will provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• You will oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• A current license to practice as an RN Registered Nurse in Michigan; current CPR-BLScertification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
