Job summary

Lahser Hills Care Centre in Michigan is seeking an experienced LPN to join its skilled nursing team. The role includes afternoon shifts with competitive hourly pay and hero pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform diverse nursing duties, administer medications, and support the care team to ensure excellent patient experiences. Full-time or part-time options are available with accommodating scheduling.

Qualifications

• LPN license in Michigan and CPR-BLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in nursing.
• Strong analytical abilities to prepare care plans and support rehabilitation.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments such as would care, wound care, IV therapy, and other nursing procedures.
• Administer medications as prescribed and counsel patients/families on changes.
• Provide preventative and supportive care for patients' physiologic and psychosocial well-being.
• Oversee Nurse Aide team, provide training, and participate in evaluations.
• Promote hospitality and high-quality service in interactions with patients, families, and visitors.

• 8 hour shifts - all shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays

How You Will Help People Every Day

• You will perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• You will administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• You will provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• You will oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• A current license to practice as an LPN Nurse in Michigan; current CPR-BLS certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
