Job summary

ProgressiveHealth is seeking a dedicated full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for an on-site Occupational Health role at a major Smyrna, TN facility. The RN will support night shift coverage (6P-6A) and provide care for work-related and non-work injuries, perform diagnostic tests, and manage documentation in EMR.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN, TN RN license in good standing, and CPR/BLS certification, with prior occupational health experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and RN licensure in good standing.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Experience in occupational health or clinic setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain state licensure and maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment for work-related and non-work-related injuries or illnesses.
• Administer injections or treatments per protocol within the clinic.
• Operate ECG, spirometry, audiometry, and other diagnostic equipment as needed.
• Collect samples and perform routine laboratory tests; document results in EMR.
• Enter and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Facilitate referrals for insurance/workers' compensation to specialists as needed.
• Assist with disability/leave management and return-to-work processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ProgressiveHealth seeks a dedicated full-time Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Smyrna, TN, at a major manufacturing facility. Now Hiring for Night Shift coverage.

What You’ll Do:

• Providing treatment as appropriate to employees for both work and non-work-related injuries or illnesses
• Give injections or treatments as ordered or per protocol within the clinic
• Operating electrocardiograph (EKG), spirometry, audiometry, and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests
• Performing routine laboratory tests and collecting specimens for routine laboratory tests
  • Includes finger sticks, urinalysis, and biological monitoring
• Thoroughly entering documents into electronic medical records to maintain clinic and patient records
• Facilitating prompt referrals for insurance/benefit/workers compensation policies and procedures to specialty medical providers as may be necessary
• ADA Accommodations and Workers’ compensation case management
• Disability/Leave management/Return to work support
• Other duties may be assigned

You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent for a Registered Nurse
• The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
• CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)Greater than one-year work experience, specifically in an occupational health setting
• Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
• The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
• A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
• Be able to maintain confidentiality
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
