Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join Brandywine Senior Living. Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness, you will conduct resident assessments and reassessments and provide direct nursing care while supervising LPNs.

This full-time, part-time, or per diem position offers a salary ranging from $39.00 to $41.00 per hour. All shifts are available, and incumbents will ensure compliance with current regulations and promote the highest level of service to residents.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license.
• At least 2 years’ experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s or other related dementias.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and of nursing practices, techniques and methods applied to health and wellness resident
• Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications
• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness, the Registered Nurse / RN conducts resident assessments and reassessments, provides direct nursing care to the residents, and supervises the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the LPN care staff.

• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
