Job summary

Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with at least one year of experience to join our team in Massachusetts. The role offers a PRN schedule and daily pay, with a competitive hourly rate and up to a $3.80 shift differential.

Qualified candidates hold an active MA RN license and BLS CPR certification. You will provide skilled nursing care, monitor residents, and document care plans in a fast-paced, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of RN experience.
• Active MA RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per physician orders and plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments according to the POC.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation per policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of Massachusetts.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
