Job summary

Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center – Rutherfordton, NC is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for night shift to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Full-time and part-time options are available with a $13,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program.
• Current North Carolina RN license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Leadership abilities and a commitment to quality resident care.
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach to nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions accurately and timely.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in resident condition, communicating with physicians and appropriate healthcare providers.
• Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and support to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff.
• Coordinate nursing care to promote resident safety, comfort, and positive clinical outcomes.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health records (EHR).
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure compliance with infection control practices, safety procedures, nursing standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented nursing environment.

RN Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse at Willow Ridge, you will:
