Job summary

Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time role with shift options from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, or 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The position offers daily pay and compensation of $40-$45/hour.

Qualifications

• RN license in VA is required.
• BLS (CPR) certification required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per standards and plan of care.
• Follow care plans from the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications per plan of care.
• Monitor residents and report changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for quality care.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.

$40-$45/hour

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of va.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
