Job summary

Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Virginia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for day and night shifts. Earn $40-$45 per hour with daily pay, and choose from full-time or part-time opportunities.

The RN will deliver skilled clinical care, monitor resident conditions, follow individualized care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in Virginia.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per standards of nursing practice and plan of care.
• Follow care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents and report changes promptly to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control and safety regulatory compliance.

Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of va.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
