Job summary

Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for the evening shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). Daily pay and an hourly rate of $38–$60 are available.

The RN Supervisor will lead nursing operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide staff to deliver high-quality resident care. Responsibilities include oversight of nursing care, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and the care team to address changes in resident conditions.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia
• BLS CPR certification
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced setting
• Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience
• No supervisory experience required; training will be provided
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of nursing practices, regulations and standards

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of va.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
