Job summary

Valley View Skilled Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team. You will oversee nursing care, mentor staff, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high-quality resident outcomes.

The role supports both full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules in a collaborative, compassionate environment within a leading Washington long-term care facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Effectively carries out medication management to ensure adequate supplies and that all medications are handled in accordance with company policy.
• Notifies residents’ attending physician and family or responsible party of any significant change in health condition.
• Ensures complete and prompt reporting of incidents, accidents, and adverse events to Administrator and Director of Nursing.
• Documents, investigates, reports and addresses residents’ accidents/incidents, adverse events and grievances as per policy and regulations.
• Upholds and promotes residents' rights; ensures rights are exercised without interference or reprisal.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents' protected health information.

Position Description

Responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. Operates within the scope of practice defined by the state Nurse Practice Act. Responsible for resident care and direction of nursing care during assigned shift; includes staff assignments, mentoring and educating nursing personnel, working with physicians and other medical professionals.

Pay rate : $47.70 - $56.65

Sign-on bonus: $4,000 for qualified full time hire

• Understands, upholds and promotes the rights of the residents.
• Ensures residents can exercise rights without interference, coercion, discrimination, or reprisal from the facility.
• Ensures protected health information is kept confidential.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program and licensed in the state of practice, required.

• Current BLS/CPR certification.
