Job summary

TATTNALL HEALTH CENTER seeks an RN Weekend Supervisor to lead and coordinate care in the short term rehabilitation and long term care settings. Under the Director of Nursing, you will implement individualized care plans and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold a current RN license in Georgia, have strong assessment skills, with geriatric or rehabilitative nursing and supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Registered Nurse license issued in the state where the person will practice and be a graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Possess physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles.
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing and supervisory capacity are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing personnel and attend to daily unit operations per shift.
• Assist in orientation and supervision of Nursing staff and assume leadership responsibilities as needed.
• Implement individualized Nursing Care Plans under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.

TATTNALL HEALTH CENTER is hiring a RN to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the incumbent RN Weekend Supervisor utilizes a general understanding of the principles of Nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized Nursing Care Plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of Nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift, unit level and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role as needed.

Requirements:

1. Must have a current Registered Nurse License issued in the state where the person will practice, and the candidate must be a graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
2. Possess physical assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles are also required.
