Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Orlando, FL. The role will focus on providing patient-centered nursing care across shifts, leading care planning, rounds, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to uphold high standards of care.

Qualified candidates hold a Florida RN license and ideally have experience in nursing homes or long-term care, with a commitment to professionalism and compassionate service.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Nursing leadership to maintain high-quality care standards.
• Conduct rounds to ensure nursing protocols are followed.
• Deliver compassionate, person-centered care addressing resident needs.
• Participate in facility surveys and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mentor nursing staff and promote accountability and teamwork.
• Conduct in-service trainings to update staff on best practices and regulations.
• Investigate and document incidents with proper follow-up.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond promptly in emergencies to ensure resident and staff safety.
• Support ongoing initiatives to improve care quality and resident experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead with Excellence: Collaborate with the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing to maintain high-quality care standards.

• Daily Oversight: Conduct rounds to ensure nursing protocols and standards are met or exceeded.

• Resident Care: Deliver compassionate, person-centered care while addressing resident concerns efficiently.

• Compliance & Surveys: Participate in facility surveys and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.

• Team Leadership: Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering accountability and collaboration.

• Education & Training: Conduct in-service trainings to keep staff updated on best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Incident Reporting: Investigate and document incidents, ensuring proper follow-up and resolution.

• Care Planning: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and review individualized care plans.

• Emergency Response: Act promptly in emergency situations, ensuring safety for residents and staff.

• Quality Assurance: Participate in initiatives to continuously improve care quality and resident experience.

Qualifications

• Valid RN License in the state of Florida
