As a staff nurse, you will help manage your unit, supervise clinical staff, and uphold infection prevention and staffing standards to ensure residents receive an unparalleled standard of care.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered State of Iowa RN license; compact state accepted.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.
• Ability to lead, mentor staff and foster a positive care culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations of the assigned unit.
• Supervise activities of clinical staff on the unit.
• Provide guidance and education to clinical staff.
• Maintain infection prevention practices.
• Ensure adequate staffing to meet residents' needs.
• Deliver care that maintains the high standard residents expect.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Oelwein Healthcare Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
