Job summary

Manor House Care Center is seeking a per diem Staff Nurse (RN) to join our friendly, caring team in Oskaloosa, IA. As a staff nurse you will supervise the activities of the clinical staff on your unit and ensure residents receive a high standard of care.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered State of Iowa RN license or compact state license.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility setting preferred.
• Ability to supervise clinical staff and guide care practices.

• Ensure residents receive high standard of care and comfort.
• Model infection prevention practices and staff education.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Manor House Care Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
