Job summary

Oelwein Healthcare Center is hiring a Staff Nurse (RN) to join a friendly, supportive team in a Skilled Nursing setting. You will supervise clinical staff on your unit and provide education to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an unencumbered RN license for IA or compact state.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.
• Ability to lead and educate clinical staff.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Oelwein Healthcare Center by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
