Job summary

Encore Parkside is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Newark, Delaware for full- or part-time hours. Compensation ranges from $42.00 to $48.00 per hour, with PTO, 401(k), referral bonuses, and additional benefits. You will provide direct nursing care, assess residents, administer medications, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with health standards.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Delaware.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to supervise staff and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Assess residents’ physical, psychosocial, and functional status and document appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report to physician and nursing leadership.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs on assigned unit or shift.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in care planning, shift reports, and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed.
• Accurately complete medical records, MARs, TARs, and incident reports.
• Educate residents and families regarding care, treatments, and health conditions.
• Adhere to attendance, scheduling, and block schedule commitments as assigned.
