Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process in line with Indiana standards. The RN will advocate for patients and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff during a 12 Hour Night Shift.

Ideal candidates will be graduates of an accredited RN program, hold Indiana RN licensure, and have CPR certification (within 60 days). Bedside or OR experience is preferred, new grads welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• RN Indiana License required.
• CPR certification on hire or able to attain within 60 days.
• Bedside or Operating Room experience preferred; new grads will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process in accordance with current standards of care and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
• Act as a patient advocate and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care.

About The Job

As a Registered Nurse at Saint Joseph Health System you are responsible for implementing, directing, communicating, and documenting the nursing process in accordance with current established standards of care and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
