Lake Mills Care Center is seeking a dedicated RN Charge Nurse to join our skilled nursing team in Iowa. You will oversee Certified Nursing Assistants and Certified Medication Aides, ensuring daily living activities are performed safely and residents receive exceptional care.

You will monitor patient changes, maintain a safe environment, and uphold high standards of clinical education. We value staff development, teamwork, and compassionate patient care at our facility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Iowa or compact state).
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNAs and CMAs to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Monitor residents' conditions and respond to changes.
• Maintain safety and educate staff on care standards.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.

As an RN Charge Nurse you are the front line of the Clinical Department and supervisor to the Certified Nursing Assistants and Certified Medication Aides. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Lake Mills Care Center by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
