Job summary

Regency Canyon Lakes Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an RN for PRN shifts. You will administer medications, provide nursing care, supervise staff, and support residents and their well-being in a home-like setting.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.

• Assist residents with ADLs and medication administration, and other care within RN scope.
• Ensure care per resident treatment and service plans.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update, and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope and state regulations.

As an RN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

As an RN, you will:

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations
