A caring senior living community in Iowa is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their dedicated team. In this full-time role, you will communicate effectively with residents and medical staff, administer care, and ensure the well-being of residents. The ideal RN candidate must possess a valid Iowa nursing license, and be committed to providing compassionate care while supporting the geriatric population. Qualifications

• Graduate of a state board-approved nursing school.
• Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Iowa.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate resident needs with physicians and supervisors.
• Administer medications, treatments, and oversee resident care.
• Monitor and assess the condition of all residents under care.
• Administers medications, treatments and physician orders; responsible for resident care.
• Confers with the Director of Nursing on special care problems and workload.
• Coordinates admission planning and recognizes contributions of family in care planning.
• Provides emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents and supports families.
• Supervises and mentors CNAs as needed.
