Job summary

Regency Hermiston is seeking an RN to join our compassionate long-term care team. You will provide medication assistance, nursing services, and supervise staff while maintaining a home-like environment for residents.

You will train staff, ensure adherence to care plans, follow infection control procedures, and respond to health emergencies within RN scope and state regulations. New grads are encouraged to apply, with a focus on resident well-being.

Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living and ADLs, including medication administration, treatments, and encouraging self-care.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures within RN scope and state regulations.

As an RN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.

As an RN, you will:

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing

• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations

• Possess a current RN license in good standing
