Langley Post Acute is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver skilled clinical care and monitor resident conditions in a 70-bed sub-acute and long-term care setting in Virginia. The role requires an active VA RN license, BLS CPR, and the ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include medication administration, following care plans, maintaining documentation, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in VA
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR)
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.
