Job summary

Lancashire Post Acute in Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position with daily pay. You will provide skilled clinical care, monitor resident conditions, administer medications, and ensure care plans are followed in accordance with standards and policies.

Qualifications

  • Current, unencumbered RN license in Virginia
  • Valid BLS certification (CPR) required
  • Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide resident care per nursing standards and physician’s plan of treatment
  • Follow care plans developed by Nurse Manager
  • Administer medications and treatments per plan of care
  • Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly to the clinical team
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with orders, policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
  • Ensure infection control, safety, and nursing regulations compliance

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):
  • Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
  • Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
  • Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
  • Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.
Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):
  • A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of VA.
  • Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
  • Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
