Job summary

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Wisconsin.

• Experience in long-term care or sub-acute care preferred; passion for geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Clinical leadership as primary contact for residents and families to ensure 5-star care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation of assessments and interventions.
• Transcribe physician orders to MARs and manage pharmacy notifications for changes.
• Safely prepare and administer medications and complex treatments as ordered.
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs to foster resident dignity and teamwork.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and therapy teams on care plans.

• Order Oversight: Efficiently transcribe physician orders to MARs and manage pharmacy notifications for adjusted treatments.

• Medication Administration: Safely prepare and administer medications and complex treatments as ordered.

• Unit Management: Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs, fostering a collaborative environment focused on resident dignity.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with the Director of Nursing and therapy teams to update and implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Must possess an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team and remain calm under pressure.

• Experience: Long-term care or sub-acute experience is preferred, but we welcome all nurses passionate about geriatric care.
