Job summary

Walter Reed Post Acute and Healthcare Center in Virginia is seeking an RN to join our team. We offer evening or night shifts, full-time and part-time opportunities, and a competitive hourly rate ($37-$43 all inclusive).

A $3/hr add-on is available if you waive benefits (FT only). As an RN, you will provide skilled clinical care, monitor resident conditions, document accurately, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care in a compassionate, resident-centered

Qualifications

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in Virginia.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.
