The Jewish Home for Rehabilitation and Nursing is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) in a full-time, part-time, and per diem capacity. Shifts run 7 AM–3 PM, 3 PM–11 PM, and 11 PM–7 AM, with a weekend/month PRN option.

The role offers $40–$44 per hour, with daily pay available, based on experience, status, and shift differences. The RN delivers skilled clinical care, monitors resident conditions, and ensures care plans are followed per standards.

Qualifications

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in New Jersey.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with standards and physician plan of treatment.
• Follow care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per plan of care.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and nursing regulations.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):
