Job summary

The Jewish Home for Rehabilitation and Nursing in New Jersey is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for part-time and per-diem shifts. Shifts include 7:00 AM-3:00 PM and 3:00 PM-11:00 PM, with PRN 8-hour shifts and one weekend per month.

The position offers a competitive hourly range and all-inclusive incentives. Responsibilities include delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring residents, and adhering to care plans.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey is required.
• BLS certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care in accordance with the physician's plan of treatment and written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments per plan of care.
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation per physician orders and facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and nursing regulations compliance.

Hourly Range: $40.00 - $44.00/hr (Based on Experience & Incentives) ALL INCLUSIVE

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of _New Jersey.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
