Job summary

Rolling Hills Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team in a behavioral health setting. The RN provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team, with focus on safety, crisis management, and therapeutic milieu.

Responsibilities include medical management, patient assessments, staff training, and accurate documentation within the master treatment plan.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee required.
• Nursing experience in the behavioral health field preferred.
• One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred.
• CPR certification (training provided).
• Handle with Care (HWC) certification (training provided).

• Manages medical assessment and patient care plans; ensures environmental safety.
• Directs implementation of behavior management programs and carries through tasks.

Is responsible for making the patient and task assignments to subordinates and monitors their duties. The Registered Nurse provides training and education to staff, patients, families; documents patient care and ensures data is accurate and included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates. Works with the treatment team to provide consistently therapeutic milieu.

Available Shift - Full-time, Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM

Shift Differential Rates: $4/hr nights, $3/hr weekend days, $7/hr weekend nights
