Job summary

Village Green Health and Rehabilitation in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, providing, and managing nursing care for residents in both short-term and long-term care settings.

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the RN or LPN will supervise CNAs, coordinate unit care, and ensure accurate medication interventions and physician order implementation. Competitive wages and robust benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit to ensure staff can provide appropriate care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.
• Transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments and notify physician of changes in status; implement orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
• Institute nursing interventions to stabilize residents or prevent complications.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and development of a care plan.

Applicant must have unrestricted RN or LPN license.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents.

These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities of the RN or LPN may include:

• RN/LPN will supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.

• RN/LPN will coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff are capable of providing appropriate care to them.

• Provide safe and accurate medication related interventions to residents.

• RN/LPN will accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.

• RN/LPN will perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.

• RN/LPN will develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.

• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions that might be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and /or prevent complications.

Contribute to the resident’s assessment (MDS/CAA’s) and the development of a care plan.
