Armor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Corrections Center of NW Ohio (CCNO) in Stryker, OH. You will provide holistic nursing care in a correctional setting and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, CPR certification, and experience with EMR systems; ability to pass Level 2 background checks is required. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic (RN) nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions; obtain health history and write admission assessment.
• Document and communicate triage decisions to health care providers during custody and discharge.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans with health care providers.
• Implement care plans including diagnostic tests and treatment administration.
• Assist physician in medical procedures as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic (RN) nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
• Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients; obtain health history and provide a written assessment of patients upon admission.
• During custody and upon discharge, document and communicate triage decisions to the appropriate health care provider.
• Develop individual nursing care plans using nursing assessment protocols in consultation with health care providers.
• Implement medical care plans to include diagnostic tests, EKGs, etc., according to physician orders.
• Administer medications using proper techniques, procedures, and approved routes of administration; nutrition and therapeutic diet plans.
• Assist physician in medical or minor surgical procedures as necessary.
