Job summary

Colonial Manor of Elma in Iowa is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to support our skilled nursing team. You will supervise clinical staff on your assigned unit and ensure residents receive an unparalleled standard of care, with emphasis on infection prevention and patient safety.

Eligible candidates hold an unencumbered Iowa RN license (or compact state) and experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa RN license (or compact state).
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Ability to supervise clinical staff and maintain infection prevention.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Colonial Manor of Elma by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs.
