Job summary

Riverhills Neuroscience is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Interventional Pain Management team at the Norwood Office. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays, from 7:30am to 4pm.

The selected candidate will provide specialized care for post-surgical patients, educate families, and maintain comprehensive medical records while utilizing EMR systems. A nursing degree and active license are required, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• One year of formal RN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Strong patient education skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients recovering from various surgical procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care instructions and recovery expectations.
• Provide information on potential complications and the importance of follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Provide accurate and appropriate health information, advice, and education to patients regarding their symptoms, medications, and treatment plans over the phone
